Care and feeding of your bowl:
All Bath Made Bowls are treated with a food safe finish, either a beeswax/oil mix or walnut oil. You can safely use your bowl for serving food. After use you can wash the bowl with warm water and mild soap. Do not wash in the dishwasher. Store dry; do not use the bowl to store liquids or wet food. Over time the finish may need to be renewed; wipe on a thin coat of beeswax/oil mix or walnut oil. Look for an oil that will harden or create a protective layer; plain mineral oil will not harden, but linseed oil, walnut oil, or tung oil are all good for making a protective finish.
